At Grand Luxe Chauffeurs, we are committed to providing an exceptional, comfortable, and inclusive travel experience for all our passengers. We strive to accommodate the diverse needs of our clients to the very best of our ability.
1. Wheelchairs and Mobility Aids
We welcome passengers who use wheelchairs or other mobility aids.
- Foldable Wheelchairs: Our fleet, particularly our spacious Mercedes V-Class and large MPVs, can easily accommodate foldable wheelchairs, walkers, and mobility scooters in the luggage compartment.
- Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles (WAVs): Please note that our standard luxury executive vehicles (such as the Mercedes S-Class and E-Class) do not currently feature ramp or lift access for passengers who need to remain seated in their wheelchairs during the journey.
- If you require a fully Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle, please contact us prior to booking. We will do our utmost to source an appropriate vehicle for you through our trusted network.
2. Assistance Dogs
In strict accordance with the Equality Act 2010, registered assistance animals (including guide dogs, hearing dogs, and medical alert dogs) are always welcome in our vehicles at no additional charge.
- To ensure we dispatch a vehicle with adequate space for both you and your assistance dog to travel comfortably, please let us know at the time of booking.
3. Driver Assistance
Our chauffeurs are highly trained professionals who pride themselves on their duty of care. Your driver will always:
- Open and close vehicle doors for you.
- Provide a steady arm or assistance getting in and out of the vehicle if requested.
- Handle the loading and unloading of all luggage, foldable wheelchairs, or mobility aids.
- Adjust the vehicle’s climate control, seating, and audio to suit your comfort levels.
4. Hearing and Visual Impairments
Our chauffeurs are trained to communicate clearly and directly.
- Visual Impairments: If you are visually impaired, your chauffeur will announce their arrival, offer physical guidance to the vehicle, and describe the surrounding environment if requested.
- Hearing Impairments: Our booking system is fully digital, allowing you to book, confirm, and communicate with us via email, SMS, or WhatsApp without the need for phone calls.
5. How to Request Accommodations
We want your journey to be completely seamless. When making your reservation—whether online, via email, or over the phone—please utilize the “Special Requirements” section to inform us of any specific accessibility needs. The more information we have in advance, the better we can tailor the service to you.
